I have a dream that one day we will have a big school for all children to come. I have a dream that one day I will get a good house for all families to take care each other. Dreams for Galiwin’ku

Standard

Martin Luther King Jr. gave his famous ‘I have a Dream’ speech 50 years ago.  In Ellemor 8 we have been reading and listening to the speech.

Martin Luther King Jr. worked to obtain a yield for African Americans.

We learned about Martin Luther King Jr.  and his work.  He worked very hard so that all people could be free.  He dreamed of equality for all people, black and white.   We learned how Martin Luther King’s work inspired Aboriginal people in Australia in their fight for equality for Aboriginal Australians.

Here are some of our dreams for our community:

I have a dream that one day my community will be proud.  I have a dream that one day my community will look clean and no one will throw rubbish.

I have a dream that one day Galiwin’ku will be a nice and beautiful community.
